You may be right, I'm probably a bit narrow minded. I use LR 4, which is usability wise a step down from Aperture, only because it's faster and gives me better results. Why would I want to bother with a software that gives me almost identical results to LR 4 but is slower (on my machine) and looks like Linux in 1996? I tried, believe me.
