X-E1 & timer remote via microphone jack

On the X-E1 mic plug only a (very) low resistance switch will work. Any mechanical switch (ie. Canon RS-60) will do. To use a remote such as the one pictured above or a wireless shutter release you need to use the mini-usb port by using a schematics compatible with the Fuji RR-80.
