In fact, it could be argued that the prices for mirrorless cameras are *more* justified, because they are showing the benefits of significant R&D investment while DSLRs are making minor improvements to long-established designs. For instance, why do DSLRs still have such poor focus speeds in live view mode compared to mirrorless cameras? Why are they still doing 60i or 30p video when the GH3 is doing 60p? This is true even for cameras like the 5D MkIII, for which video is a high priority.
