About micro 4/3 aspect ratio

GH1/2 are different

The Panasonic GH1 and GH2 cameras have oversized sensors, so when you shoot 3:2 or 16:9 you actually get more pixels in the width dimension which nearly offsets the loss of pixels in the height.  This also makes your lenses' FOV wider which is quite nice.  Shame Panasonic dropped this feature for the GH3.
