If I may state one thing.

Please be very careful in allowing members to bypass the moderators to complain directly to you. It will become habit forming to some, and undercut the authority of your volunteer moderators if they feel members are allowed to just bypass them.

You might consider asking each person that contacts you directly if they have discussed the issue directly with the moderator who took action. If not, send them there first.

Just a thought to consider.
