Nikon V1 Firmware v1.2 Download Problems

Hi everybody,

I have just purchased a Nikon 1 V1 from B&H.  I checked the firmware and it seems to be 1.0 so I'm trying to download the V1 Firmware V1.2 from Nikon USA.  The problem is Nikon's server seems to be serving the file at turtle speeds.  It's a 13 MB file and it has been downloading for the past hour and it hasn't even downloaded 1 MB of the update yet.  Yikes.

I tried Nikon Europe, and it's the same situation.  It's beyond slow, it's crawling.

I'm on a FiOS broadband, and I can normally download such a file in minutes.

I'm travelling to Europe tomorrow evening and I would like to update the V1 to it's latest firmware that fixes some small but important issues.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Maybe someone has the file or knows of some alternate download sites. Would the V1 v1.2 update from Nikon Japan work on a USA camera?

Anyway, I'm extremely happy with images from the camera.  Menus and AF are blazing, and the small size is exactly why I bought it for this trip.  Even though I'll have my D800 with me, there will be times when the smaller V1 makes more sense to carry.  Thanks very much, in advance.
