I always heard that their packing was not as good as the on-line retailers.

Thoughts?

I mostly buy from B&H and Adorama.  Their packaging can survive depth charges.  I recently bough a Fotodiox softbox from amazon becuase neither of those two carries Fotodiox.  It arrived in a box big enough to hold three softboxes and had absolutely no packing material in the box.  Based on this and from what I have seen pictures of from people on photography forums, there is no way I would order any electronic device from Amazon.  Even with a good return policy, you still need to wait for the process and Amazon has no problem holding onto your money while things get sorted out.
