24mm f/1.4, Nikon's most unpopular lens?

Here in Canada, it is a CAD* $2350 lens. At the same store (Henrys), I could get the following for less:

• Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8: $1699
  
• Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8: $1599
  
• Nikkor 70-200 VRII f/2.8: $1999
• Zeiss 21 mm f/2.8: $1849
  

Perhaps that's one reason.
