Thanks for posting.

My view on the DP2M, and also for the SD1, to some extent, is that the quality of the imager and lens in some sense changes the nature of the image itself. As with the picture of the leaves, it is obviously a very humble and almost plain subject and yet, with the detail, like a view camera image to some extent, it has more than just charm. It becomes interesting.

Not everyone cares about such detail, of course, and sometimes people have no ability to see it. And not every image requires it.
