Forum rules and censorship I'm not happy with -- what to do? Locked

While I agree that moderators were probably needed - I've seen some truly ridiculous off topic garbage in my long tenure here at DPREVIEW - no matter how tightly the selection process was run there will be some inappropriate folks selected at first.  I agree that the Nikon video thread wandered a bit off topic, but in most forums threads can be moved to the appropriate place.  This may or may not have been far off point enough to act, but the action ​of summary closure was​ a bit heavy handed, IMHO.
