Oly dslr with Canon compatible flash?

I know some here use the ttl off camera flash cord from canon with their oly flash with full compatibility.... so i would like to ask has anyone ever tried a canon compatible flash with the oly bodies?
I would like to know if i can use the yungnuo 560 for canon with my E30 with ttl and FP synch....
