Fast prime for indoors. Suggestions please.

I thank you all for taking the trouble to give your opinions & experiences. I seldom, if ever do people shots, it's for interiors of historic buildings & castles etc, where some of the rooms era pretty dim. I lean towards the 28-35mm range with f/2. I would buy used.
