He used the same shutter and aperture as you did, higher ISO, and he was in full daylight to take a good exposure. (I can tell the lighting because there are sun rays in the 2nd shot.)

I think if Gopal wants to retain the same shutter in those conditions, he'd need to start with ISO 3200.
Nothing wrong with ISO 800 and hand hold for 1/20 sec. Or if you cant hold steady, just need to experiment.. or just let the camera decide if you're unsure.. Looking forward to Gopal's improved shots.
