IMO Nigel the OOC jpeg wins hands down. I have yet to see a DXO conversion of the RX100 that looks OK to me. That's why I asked somebody else on another thread to do this test and again the DXO conversion didn't look natural. The LR4 though did look slightly better than the OOC jpeg. That was ISO 125. Do you use some RX100 specific profile with DXO or some generic one?

DxO has profiles for both RAW and JPEG RX100 files, which do the lens corrections, vignetting, noise reduction, etc.  Why do you prefer the OOC JPEG so much?  It has a lot less detail, probably because of aggressive noise reduction in the camera. At a pixel peeping level, it looks smoother, of course, but at the loss of a lot of information. I could probably replicate that in DxO, but why would I want to?
