Re: F2.8G OR F4?

70-200mm F4 G VR (10.390,-) + RT-1 (1.195,-) = 11.585,-

Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 G AF-S VRII ED = 15.895,-

I think the F4 are been priced very high, but since there are no tests out there, do I not know if the price is right or not.

I have and use the Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 G AF-S VR II ED and every now and then with a Nikon TC-20E III. Moreover, this is a superb lens, no doubt.

However, there is the focal length breathing and if I have understood the thing right, the F4 do not have that.

I think both of these lenses will give you the absolute top results, but if I had to do a choice today, I will have waited a few weeks before I took a decision. There will be more testing’s out there in near future. You will then have more information to take the right decision for you. It is still a lot of money to spend.
