Beginner's question: opinion on cropping

Wei Kelun, see what you started. There's gonna be a brawl. Actually the 7D and my brand new 100-400 makes a great weapon.

But come on man, do what you think is best. Just try things and form your own opinion. If you don't like something or don't feel good about it, don't do it. Oh, actually I think I just saw the crop police pulling up to your house. You're in trouble.

But in all seriousness I have learned so much from, and have been given great advice by the people here. This place is a wealth of knowledge and experience. Better than reading a book on photography. But that helps also.

Everything being argued here is personal. There really are no rules. At least none that I can see. It's like golf. You're kind of out there playing against yourself. Make pictures, practice and discover what it is that YOU like.
