Nikon D600's LCD screen isn't WYSIWYG?
Dec 26, 2012

Hello everyone!

I was hoping someone can help me out with this.  I am completely new to the world of Nikon  and recently bought the D600 which I truly love.  There is one thing that is annoying me about it, and that is that the LCD screen doesn't seem to be a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) one.  In other words, when in Live View mode the picture you see isn't the picture you end up with when you take the shot.  The actual photo often appears completely different.  If you change the shutter speed/ISO and other settings, what you see in the Live View display doesn't change at all.

Is there a way to make it WYSIWYG?  I am getting fed up with my images looking darker or lighter than what I saw through my Live View screen before taking the shot.  Thanks.

Jamie
