What is the differnt between Nikon p510 and DSLR? Is the same 42x zoom level is available in DSLR?

Do you think that more strips are more Adidas? Comparing P510 with DSLR is comparing two different worlds. From my point of view the main function of camera is to make photos. Today's cameras makes daubs and looks like noise generators. Theirs output is far away from pictures. If you want to compare compact and DLSR, I advice you to compare picture quality, not just specs.
