1. I've seen some serious conjecture that the Fuji is applying noise reduction to the raw file.
2. To get silky smooth files from the OMD, you need to shoot raw and practice good ETTR techniques. If you expose properly to the right, you will get raw files with no grain in blue skies. If you rely on the camera's meter, you're likely to see some grain.
