These Kodachrome shots look like Foveon images.

Imagine the technical knowledge and skill required to light and shoot some of these interiors on what was probably ISO (ASA) 10 sheet film using a 4x5 camera, and achieve such great exposure and focus.  I shall refer to these next time someone complains about the AF, lack of 1/8000 shutter speed, burst rate, or high ISO performance on a modern digital camera...
