First shots with a brand new X-E1 + 18-55mm lens

Here are a few JPEGs slightly processed in LR3. Saved the RAWs for future use. So far it has been a pleasant experience. This forum is a great educational tool. AF focusing is not a problem as long as one understands the limitations of contrast detection. As many have reported the focus is dead-on as soon as the lock is achieved. I was not able to improve on the AF focus quality using the manual focus both using the AE-L/AF-L button or by adjusting the focus ring. Seems to work quite well for me.
All shots are hand-held. Very pleased with the lens quality.
Would love to have your comments! Merry Christmas to everyone on the forum!
