Merry Christmas and a new (used) camera

Merry Christmas.  A lot of us haven't posted here recently.  We've moved on to other brands or DSLR cameras.  But we still like Olympus and I thought I would say hello.

Last Friday at a computer recycle store I found a used 4mp C-4000 Olympus Camedia for $5 (five dollars USD).  It had lithium batteries and a 128mb Smart Media card.  It works perfectly, and the lens was scratch free.  It took me a long time to pull it out of the box among other old discarded cameras, cords, cables, and straps.  But I knew I had a good one.  The Camedia cameras were excellent.  I changed the lithium batteries to NiMH rechargeables, found a card reader (that I had) that would accept Smart Media cards and had fun playing with it.  Here's some pictures that I took with it today at a park.

Most of the time, I didn't know what I was doing, so the settings might appear off.  But I was learning and it was fun.  We had just a short moment of sunshine too.
