All my cameras with the exception of the RX100 have home made para cord wrist straps. A small section of spagetti tubing for drip irrigation systems serve as the the adjustable wrist lock. This also works will with the stock Sony strap that comes with an RX100. Should you want to switch to a neck and wrist strap system like the outstanding Optech products, a little dental floss threaded through the tiny RX100 strap lug will allow you to fit the thicker strap loop.
While I am at it, the knot on the Leica strap allows length adjustment so the camera will hang on a single finger (on the accessory grip) and the strap. Very handy, especially if you have right hand motor function issues. Both of our 5Ns are also setup this way.
