NEX-6 autofocus - what's the verdict?

I agree with what's been said, it's not as good as the LA-EA2, it's definitely not as good as a DSLR, but it is an improvement over what we had before.  I LOVED my 5n, but the focusing bothered me.  I put up with it because it was otherwise such a great camera.  On my 6, focusing is better.  I still hope some day that on-sensor PDAF technology will develop to be as good as a DSLR, but the main thing for me is, focusing is now less of a problem, and I don't notice the problems I had before with my 5n focusing (at least not as much).

So, it's somewhere in the middle.  But, it's definitely an improvement.  A noticeable step in the right direction that still leaves the DSLR (or LA-EA2) as a clearly better focusing option.
