If you're diligent about putting them up and taking them down for every shoot and want the speed of changing the background during the shoot, that's great. But 99% of the time I've seen them used, photographers just leave the seamless paper up there all the time and create these weird ripples.
Thanks for the reply, yes I was just looking at this system, and wondering how I'd store the rolls. I'd prefer paper to fabric, and could store upright easily. I like the auto-poles, as they look very multi-purpose and good for general rigging. but maybe a set of traditional stands would be cheaper and could be used outdoors....
Ideally I'd have some kind of scaleable stand system that I can add to over time, which would accept lighting and back-drops.
