Meike FC-100 Ring Light - NEX-6 + 16mm 2.8 Pancake

Just purchased a cheap 20$ Meike FC-100 Ring light from amazon.ca to use for video. Just thought i'd post some initial pics and thoughts. Used a 49mm step up ring to 58mm ring (included)
The only complaint i have so far is that when setting the light to the lowest power setting and so on it emits a very loud high pitched frequency noise. In fact the noise also seems to be interfering with the LCD screen as well as the recorded clips (Horizontal Banding flickering). However when setting it to full power the noise is completely gone.
Given the price of this unit i find its something i'm willing to work around. Especailly considering the Brightest setting is usually the one that will be used the most.

Pros:
Cheap (20$)
Comes with all the neccessary step down rings. 52-72mm
Throws a very broad even light.
Cons:
Very Noisy (High Pitched Frequency sound) when using it on any setting except for FULL power.
Does not come with a 49mm ring (Purchased a 49mm step up ring from ebay for 4$)
Let me know if you have any questions
