Get out, your camera is too good (you should be shooting at 204,000 whatever ridiculousness it is) XD I kid, you have a cute dog!
I also figured out an easy and reasonably not too bad fix to the blacks not being "grey" like in the jpegs - in ACR, go to the split toning, move the balance slider all the way to the right, then adjust the shadow colour to the opposite one appearing in the blacks of your image, find a middle ground and adjust it too look more black by eye. It works for me!
