Hi,

I rented the XE-1 kit for two days (sadly I had to return it a few hours ago). I loved playing with it! The photos below are far from definitive examples of the capability of the camera (or my ability, I hope).

Initial impressions:
- I really want one of these cameras for my very own.

- It's a design that makes me want to pick it up and take pictures.

- AF was plenty fast. Maybe because I remember shooting NY Ranger games from the open penalty box with a Nikon F3 and a 180mm lens. Manual focus, of course.

- Image quality is beautiful.

A little bit of a tangent: I saw the Hobbit in HFR 3D on a 4K projector. My basic feeling is "why is more definition better?" I really wonder what the obsession is all about. This parallels directly with still photography pixel peeping, in my opinion. Would Dorothea Lange's beautiful documentation of the depression era migrants stand up to that kind of scrutiny? Would that very quest for high definition detail actually diminish the humanity of the people captured in that moment of their lives?

OK, here are a few snaps
