How to ruin a table

Hi, one of my hobbies is woodworking....dah.

So we ar changing the huse from a traditional Belgian house, to more rural type, authentic materials, anyway, this table should have transfered fro a varnished one to a waxed one, with a whitewash technique, but it turned out something ugly, and i made this pic to show the interior architect who described me the technique, so this is something really different, but why not use a hobby, to show a hobby, here we go;
