Water Color effect, can someone show me what it is?

Of course my wife tells me my gray slacks are green and she may be correct, but since I see them as gray that is all I care about.

I am sure there are some that are totally upset by this "effect" that I truly can't see. In fact I find the right picture far better than the left.

However I also could never hear the OIS motor in my 18-55 and I am sure it drove others batty.
