A new camera in 2013, what will it be?

Remind me where I am wrong, but wasn't there a release from Ricoh a good while back that it was intended that Pentax would retain the dslr line whilst Ricoh concentrated on "compacts".  Of course we only presume that the GXR is regarded as "a compact".  All other things being equal and listening to other talk about Pentax I picked up that some recent Pentax lens types were specifically engineered for aps-c sensor.  Also the Pentax guru was not to be drawn on a possible FF body from Pentax. He did say he would personally like to see one but there was no news from the company (repeatedly).  Converted to exec-speak this is "no comment" in either eventuality I cannot be wrong.

Meanwhile this might not stop Ricoh making an LM module with FF sensor or them making a fully functional PK module with aps-c either.  However I will believe either or both whem I see them.  The Ricoh interviewees words can only be interpreted as "we are going hammer and tongs to make something good". "It is a fact and it will happen and Ricoh fans will be excited".  Not enough more to put flesh on that product's bones.

Ricoh digital camera is not dead and we should be excited ....

If it is a completely new camera and a whole new lens mount system I am not so excited.
