AEB in Manual mode vs AEB in Av mode? (on a t4i)

What is the difference?  In both modes the outcome is the same, meaning, the aperture is constant in all three shots, and the exposure is varied by changing the shutter speed.  Isn't this exactly what AEB in Av does!

Am I missing something?
