I certainly don't feel any "hate" towards you. I strongly suggest that you experiment with Foveon technology to find out what it's capable of. And don't try to compare it with Bayer technology until you have a better understanding of it. Its per-pixel sharpness can fool you.

In the digital photography world, Foveon is considered to be very eclectic - largely because people who have been shooting Bayer cameras for a long time have certain expectations based on pixel dimensions and what size prints they can produce. I have no trouble at all producing sharp, clean 20 x 30" prints with a 4.7 MP (2D) Sigma SD14 or SD15 or DP1. It may be worth tossing out some of your preconceptions.
