There are no shortage of mFT users using heavy legacy lenses on adapters, so I don't think a mount custom designed by Olympus will have any issues.

Probably right. Just the issues of EVF delay and poor continuous AF.

Evf lag is non issue really, especially when using fast refresh and continous af never really worked well on olympus dslrs since it doesn'treally predict movement.
