The whole A99 video bashing is started here with blaming the af and the mushy footage out from the camera from people who were completely mistaked it for a videocam and from others who either never owned one nor ever used it professionally. Which is your case?

No. That's not what happened at all. The mushy footage has absolutely ZERO to do with autofocus. Go do some searches here about the a99's poor performance and educate yourself on the topic.
It certainly didn't happen here. Go read how Sony is marketing this camera as well. Note the new flash with "video light" as well. Open your eyes.
