These settings seem to render a very natural look, at least with your sunny light conditions. On the downside, whenever I hear of bumping contrast, I tend to think blown highlights or capped shadows, especially on small sensors with limited DR. Here I think there's a tendency to blow at least in the hair coral and the bay shelter images. And while I like the shadows overall, I'm not really convinced they are better than the trusty defog+EV-.7 option you've explored earlier. But the colors are very good indeed. Might try it myself in another six months or so.
