MILCs and FD Lenses

Happy Holidays yall!
I was a member years ago before my xti was stolen and had to make a new account since I forgot my information. Long story short, I got back into photography during summer and decided to return to film and have been looking for a point and shoot to add to my bag. I've been reading up a lot on the Canon s95, Lumic LX5, and the Ricoh GRDIII but when I sold my 50 f1.4 FD on craigslist yesterday, the buyer had a Sony NEX with a FD adapter which I never thought of doing.
So my questions to yall are: What's a reliable MILC that has a lot of bang for my (limited) bucks and a quality FD adapter? What are the pros/cons of this setup? Is getting a MILC and FD adapter even worth it if I find any of those point and shoots at good price?
Thanks everyone!
