In my opinion the second, corrected image has far more impact, especially the detail in the fantastic ceiling. The human eye does not notice perspective changes to the degree a camera lens may show them; the first image strikes me as ‘unnatural’ and lacking real focus that draws the eye into the picture. It’s also nice that you have left some degree of converging verticals in the corrected image, which is more in keeping with what the eye perceives.
