I have a couple of recent threads which ask this and related questions regarding the E-M5. For example, http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3352455  Anders W has written extensively on the subject, including in that thread

A suggested answer is an Expose To The Right approach. Turn on highlight & shadow warnings (rather than the histogram), which displays overexposed areas as orange and underexposed as blue (you can set the limits for over and under exposure). Use shutter speed and aperture to let in as much light as possible consistent with motion blur and depth of field, to the point where you're just losing desired highlights to orange. If adding exposure is not enough to get to the right, increase ISO, but don't use values between 200 and 400 and don't go above 1600. Post process to get the look you want.

Experiment to determine if this works for you. See if it does any better than your usual technique. You can experiment both visually and with various numerical tests, such as with rawdigger.
