To keep it simple, if the retailer will or cannot repair the camera, you have the right to ask for another one if you still wish to, or you can gt your money back. They may argue that a repair is in due time. But if the issue clearly influences the camera, you do not have to accept delayed repairs.

The number of clicks do not really matter here. What does matter is the fact that the problems start to occur in the first six months. After that period, you have to prove it's their fault. Within that period, they have to prove it's yours. They will have a hard time proving that if your sensor is covered by oil spots, like Nikonfan is experiencing after almost 7000 frames.
