Your second comparison isnt really like for like though is it and I'd say alot of the 4/3 lenses(espeically the pro stuff) and indeed SLR lenses generally really werent designed with space/weight in mind to the degree of M43, I'd guess alot of what pushes the price of mirrorless glass up.

Those two f2.8 zooms are dealing with different sensor sizes and different focal lenghts aswell.

I actually think that its lenses like 2.8 zooms that really show the advanatge of m43 mirrorless over ASPC mirrorless. Less optically complex lenses tend to be evened out by the essentials such as AF motors, mounts, circuitboards etc but when you introduce more glass the difference becomes clearer.
