A99 tested on DXO - score: 89

A lot of people complained about the low ISO even before the camera was released. No matter what camera there will be released, there will always be people who complain about something.

Because it is a matter of personal experience, I think the best approach is to actually try the camera and then you can reach a conclusion. Does it fit you? Is it good enough? Sony has a 30 days return policy, you can buy it and test it, see if you like it. Alternatively, you can probably rent the camera and try it.

I know many people who already bought the A99 waited for this DXO result, and probably now they are disappointed when they saw the low light score. On the other hand, other photographers tried all cameras, and their conclusion was that there was no difference in real world.

Don't let this score affect your judgement. Try it and then take a decision. Also, use some work arounds: shoot raw or use MFNR, you will get much better results. Also, consider all the aspects: IBIS, Zeiss glass, articulated screen, etc.
