I bought into the Fuji Xsystem because it was built on primes. I was a bit disappointed to see the Fuji zoom.

When I shoot with my 7D and L zooms (some very good glass) it is more like the camera is between me and my idea of an image. I look for a subject, but my looking isn't completed until I look through the lens and zoom it.

With the XP1, I see the image first. That is why I like the OVF so much. Even with the 60mm pretty much the camera is more a part of my vision.

I also have some very nice primes for my Canon. Never use them. Just seems to me an slr is a zoom system, and a rangefinder-like camera is primes.
