Does anyone know, how much is the maximum trigger voltage the E-PL5 can handle? I have an ancient Sunpak 355AF flash which I have used with my nikon D7000 (that one tolerated 300+V voltage)

agreed - Very important to find trigger voltage and tolerances. Way before digital, and before anyone much thought about it (since most manual focus cameras were very tolerant of high trigger voltage, I burned out a Minolta X-700 because of the included camera electronics (one of the first with programmed exposure), I had it fixed back when for around 100USD. That was with an early Sunpack flash, think it was a small Sunpack 100 with about 300V trigger. There are sites with charts for trigger voltage if you google them. Wein Safe Sync to be safe.
