Wonderful for video, not so much for stills...

It's a nice lens for video (good micro contrast wide open, manual focus), but less useful for stills (low center resolution relative to competition but still very good, manual focus).
If you install magic lantern and use its peaking functionality or get a split prism focus screen or install an AF confirm chip you might like it... some do. It has nice bokeh and ok build quality.
I don't find it particularly useable for stills, except maybe in a studio. Get the 85mm f1.8 if AF matters at all to you.
