As a forum reader for years I could not disagree more strongly. Troll and abusive posts come in 24x7, and there is a LOT of reason why you would also want moderation to be done as quickly as possible.

...which threads, as a general rule, receive the most action?  Of course, they are the "entertainment" threads.  And, what I also find very interesting about them, is that it is often those who object to the "entertainment" that contribute the most to it.

In any case, I have proposed two new forums for DPR multiple times in the past.  One is a "Troll Wars" forum, where threads that have gone "entertainment" can be moved to.  SJ once said that he was considering such a foum.

The second is a "Administrative Disputes" forum, which, as the title implies, would be for the discussion of moderator actions.  SJ has said that he is against this idea.

In short, I think many moderation problems can be handled better with a logistical approach than a punitive approach.
