Is Microsoft Even Listening about Windows 8?

Actually, Sean was the one that said, "I really don't think Windows 8 is a bad choice for a desktop, as long as you're willing to take the extra steps to install a 3rd-party app".

And I was just responding to that. I was merely saying that installing a 3rd-party app, to get to a point where it is not "a bad choice for a desktop", that is beyond the limit for me.

But for him, and others too, I think it's also the fact that the app can boot you directly into the desktop.
