FT v MFT lenses

I'm with you on most of this, apart from one or two points:

Hmmm ... The K5 is a lovely size, especially for those who bought into FT because of the original E1.

But yes. MFT can indeed be a lot smaller.

Er ... depends on what lenses you slap on! most of the faster ones are as you know the same size as FF ones, so the total system isn't going to really be smaller, unless you 'downgrade' to HG from SHG. And then you often do give up more than a 'bit' of flexibility to FF.

Indeed. And I can see this being a very compelling solution if they pull it off.

(er ... actually ... there are more than one gotcha ... like ... is any CDAF option actually going to be able to focus accurately enough?)

It could of course be that some shooters have far more highly developed reflexes and sensory acuity than others. The former can observe and get frustrated by the limitations of an EVF, while the sloth like unwashed masses stumble on, oblivious of any failings
