Tips on focusing manual lens on 5D III?

I recently acquired a Samyang 14mm f2.8 for my 5DIII, and this lens has manual focus and aperture. For landscape work I am shooting at around f11, so focusing with VF is no big deal. However, at around f2.8, while trying to get accurate focus in Live view, I find I'm always wanting to zoom the LV preview beyond the maximum 10x magnification to nail the focus. I think the 10X limit is just a firmware limit, so does anybody have any tips how to magnify in LV even closer?
