There's an app for that!
If you have a smartphone there's a number of photography based apps with exhaustive infos for the intrepid photographer. Most cost a nominal fee. Generally they use the maps function of your phone in conjunction with the GPS to display your current location and the exact path to the sun. You can also choose a location and/or future time/date.
If you're looking for a cheap one (ie, free), Google Sky Map is very good. It displays the current location of any celestial objects in the sky. Great for identifying stars and planets obviously, but it also shows the current location of the moon and sun, even if they're below the horizon line.
